Introducing Gridlock

Written by Ludometrics' Chief Person, David T on August 27, 2013.

Last time, we did hint that SockMonster was the first in our new projects, so here we are today to talk about Gridlock.

Gridlock is a game about shooting things. Specifically, about shooting abstract shapes before they crash into your gun turrets. That's a picture of a turret below. You have four turrets, one on each side of the grid, and once they're gone, they're gone.

We've made this game for the OUYA console. Why? Well, despite their various and well-documented miscalculations over the last few weeks, we wanted to make a game that required a game controller. And we wanted to make a game that people could play between TowerFall parties. And the OUYA seemed like a good place to start.

Anyway, we quite like playing it, and we hope you will too. We'll be releasing it on OUYA this Thursday, August 29!
